Exercises
Journaling Prompts
- What helps me feel steady, centered, or grounded when life feels chaotic?
- What core value, belief, or truth helps bring me back to myself in difficult moments?
- What does it feel like in my body when I’m grounded and present?
- How can I return to that feeling more often?
Exercises:
Breath + Value Practice: A short guided practice pairing breath with repeating a personal value or anchor phrase (e.g., “I am safe,” “I am steady,” “I am enough”).
Visualization: Anchoring: A guided visualization where participants imagine themselves anchoring themselves during a storm. Connecting to values and deeper meaning. Breathing up and down the chain to deepen connection. Once anchored, calm the storm with each exhale. Invite warm sunlight with each inhale.
